Stealthing More Like Sexual Assault

New York Post reported on an new dangerous sex trend, stealthing. Stealthing is when a man removes a condom during sex without informing his partner. The moment I read this article I had a flashback to 2015 when I was having sex with the boy I had lost my virginity to. We were having sex for the second time and during the middle of us having sex he told me he removed the condom. My heart immediately dropped and my mind began racing to pregnancy and STD's. I could not believe that he would do something so disrespectful. All I could do was tell him to stop and take me home. I was no longer horny but in a state of distraught. I felt violated and disgusting. It was only my second time having sex ever and I might have been exposed to an STD or pregnancy definitely not what I was expecting or any woman for that matter. No matter how many times they had sex nor age. It was also quite frightening because I would have never even known if he did not tell me. How scary is that?
The article by New York Post reported how a rape crisis hotline had received numerous calls were women usually began with saying " I'm not sure if this is rape but..." and usually had a hard time explaining what they experienced but they just knew they did not consent to this act and felt violated. The term stealthing formed because of the lack of ability to explain what occurred to them.
I am convinced this is a form of sexual assault and should be handled as such. The man clearly violated his partner. He did not have her consent to perform unprotected sex and essentially put her at risk for STD's and pregnancy.
What is even more frightening to me then men secretly removing their condoms is the fact that men would encourage other men to do the same. There is apparently a group of men who encourage this behavior by saying it is a man's right to be able to "spread his seed". It is utterly disgusting and makes me sick. Women be aware of this frightening and disgusting act. And also take a look at these two articles that reported on the act. It is important that statute is created for stealthing so this violation can begin being handled accordingly.
