Girl, WHAT?

They say you should always respect other people’s opinions even if you don’t agree, but what if someone’s opinion threatens your quality of life? In the past week a video has been floating around of a man roundhouse kicking a pro life protester. After the video he was fired and arrested. While I’m not arguing his arrest as he did kick the living shit out of someone. I do want to touch upon the conversation that took place during the video. In the short clip I watched, the video begins with Hunt asking the woman a hypothetical question about a 16-year-old girl getting raped and whether or not she should be able to have an abortion. The protester then went on to say one of the most stupidest statements about an abortion that I’ve ever heard. I honestly don’t even think people noticed the ignorance that came out of this woman's mouth. The woman replies “it’s a baby. If someone is raped and she gave birth and decided to kill her three-year-old child…” BAM kicked in the face for talking absolute gibberish. Just a side note I do want to add that Hunt said he did not mean to kick her. He was trying to kick her phone for recording him without permission. While he did not mean it, she deserved it. How dare she stand there and protest against abortions when she doesn’t even know what it is. How dare she attempt to destroy the lives of other women with her ignorance. It’s sickening. It makes my blood curl especially when we inch closer and closer to a reality where men such as Trump and Kavanaugh are fighting to repeal Roe vs. Wade. That’s why it’s important for individuals with common sense like Hunt to stand against the ignorance and false information that these people spread like viruses.
Furthermore, besides this woman standing against something she’s ignorant about I wish people like her would take a second and think about themselves in someone else’s shoes. If she was a 16 year old girl, who was raped I’m sure she would appreciate the option of being able to have an abortion because not only will her life be afflicted by a pregnancy she did not ask for by a man who took her by force, she will also be plagued by people who will judge her like her peers who do not know of her situation.
Hopefully, this post will enlighten you on speaking about issues you are uncertain about as well as placing yourself in other people shoes. While this was just a short post on abortion and women’s rights I will definitely be posting more on these issues so look out. I definitely have much more to touch upon concerning abortion and how Americans view a fetus and actual living children.
( Thank you to the person who commented “what was she expecting he did a whole anime freeze frame before that kick” it inspired the cover photo lmfao)
